Vice President

Mr. Weiner serves as Vice President of Ares Capital. Mr. Weiner also serves as General Counsel of Ares. Mr. Weiner joined Ares in September 2006 and is a member of Ares Partners. Previously, Mr. Weiner served as General Counsel to Apollo Management L.P. and had been an officer of the corporate general partners of Apollo since 1992. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Weiner was a partner in the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, specializing in corporate and alternative financing transactions, securities law as well as general partnership, corporate and regulatory matters. Mr. Weiner has served and continues to serve on the boards of directors of several corporations, including Hughes Communications, Inc. and SkyTerra Communications, Inc. Mr. Weiner also serves on the Board of Governors of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Mr. Weiner graduated with a BS in Business and Finance from the University of California at Berkeley and received a JD from the University of Santa Clara.
