Managing Director/Co-Head of Ivy Hill Asset Management

Mr. Cascade joined Ares in March 2006 in the Private Debt Group and serves as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Ivy Hill Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Cascade was with GE Global Sponsor Finance where he was a Vice President in Risk and Originations. At GE, Mr. Cascade originated and structured numerous middle market private equity and leveraged finance transactions. Prior to joining GE Global Sponsor Finance, Mr. Cascade was a Senior Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand LLP. Mr. Cascade graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Accounting and Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
