Vice President

Mr. Goldman joined Ares in February 2007 in the Private Debt Group and serves as a Vice President. Prior to joining Ares, Mr. Goldman was an Associate in the Principal Investment Area at Goldman, Sachs & Co, where he evaluated, structured and executed mezzanine investments for the GS Mezzanine Partners funds. Previously, he was an Associate at Apax Partners, where he was responsible for reviewing, analyzing and structuring private equity investments. Prior to joining Apax, Mr. Goldman was an Analyst in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Goldman received a BBA in Finance from Emory University and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
