Mr. Bloomstein serves as a Partner and General Counsel (Credit) and Deputy General Counsel (Corporate) of Ares Management in the Ares Legal Department. He is General Counsel, Vice President and Secretary of Ares Capital Corporation and Vice President and Assistant Secretary of ACRE. Additionally, he serves as Vice President and Assistant Secretary of CION Ares Diversified Credit Fund. Prior to joining Ares in 2006, Mr. Bloomstein was an Associate in the Private Equity and Corporate Groups at Latham & Watkins, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions transactions and securities law and general corporate matters. Mr. Bloomstein holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany in Political Science and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami, where he was elected to The Order of the Coif.
